GENERAL PLAN FOR TROOP MEETINGS

    1. Patrol leaders, their assistants, and the troop guides show up for meetings five minutes early so that we can quickly review the plan for that night.
    2. Opening flag ceremony: a different patrol will handle it each week. Let's walk the flags in instead of just standing by them (unless we're downstairs).
    3. Introductions: First name, Last name, Patrol name, position
    4. The plan for that meeting.
    5. After the meeting, I'd like the troop leadership (that's the patrol leaders, their assistants, and the guides) to stay for 5 minutes so we can find out how we all did.

MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS

Patrol Leaders need to make their weekly phonecalls and pass along any information their patrol members need to know. For instance, wear Class B or PE uniform for the Physical Ffitness Activities.

A note to Assistant Scoutmasters

I think it would be a good idea to have an assistant scoutmaster hanging around each patrol all during the meeting. It would give added support to the Patrol Leader and/or troop guide. The assistant scoutmaster wouldn't have to say a thing unless the Patrol Leader or Guide needed help controlling the group.
